Set up 15% VAT correctly so every order, invoice, and report is tax-accurate.
Settings → Tax → VAT number. Enter the 15-digit number. Once saved, all VAT-enabled products will show 'Inc. VAT' pricing on the storefront.
On each product edit page, scroll to Pricing and toggle 'Charge VAT on this product'. Enable it for taxable goods and services; leave it off for zero-rated or exempt items (e.g. basic foodstuffs, medicines).
Go to Analytics → Tax report. This shows total VAT collected per period, which is what you declare on your ZATCA VAT return. You can export it as a CSV for your accountant.
VAT is only charged on orders with a Saudi delivery address. Orders shipped internationally are zero-rated automatically — Numu detects the delivery country from the shipping zone.
Run the tax report at the end of each quarter and reconcile it against your ZATCA filing before submitting.
