Setting up ZATCA e-invoicing

Read time: 6 min

Become fully compliant with Saudi Arabia's Fatoorah e-invoicing mandate in a few steps.

1

Enter your VAT registration number

Go to Settings → Tax. Enter your 15-digit VAT number exactly as registered with ZATCA. If you're not yet VAT-registered, you must register at zatca.gov.sa before proceeding.

2

Enable ZATCA e-invoicing

Toggle on 'ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing'. Numu will generate a QR-coded, XML-structured invoice for every order automatically — both the simplified invoice (B2C) and standard invoice (B2B) formats are supported.

3

Configure your invoice template

Under Settings → Invoices, choose your invoice language (Arabic, English, or bilingual). Add your logo, address, and any custom notes such as return policy text.

4

Run a test transaction

Place a test order and open the order detail page. Click 'Download invoice' to verify the QR code, VAT breakdown, and XML structure are correct before going live.

💡 Tip

ZATCA's Phase 2 (integration) requires real-time invoice reporting. Numu handles the API integration automatically — no manual uploads needed.
